Pros

The exposure to different areas of a company, the interactions with client, the challenges, the coaching/development process, flexibility if you put in your hours will come

Cons

Long overtime hours, common to work between 8 a.m. - 10 pm during busy season for 3 months of the year, ruthlessly competitive

Pros

PwC has a pretty decent reputation, so it is a great way to build your resume. It also exposes you to tons of work with different clients.

Cons

There are many long days and constant deadlines and busy seasons. The pay is not very good, all things considered, until you make it to Director and Partner level, which could take years and years.

Great place to learn

Pros

My overall experience at PwC has been great. It is a great place to learn. Take advantage of all that there is to offer. To all new associates, I highly recommend you focus on your CPA exam, work in a variety of industries and always communicate with recruiters, just to keep your options open.

Cons

Work-life balance can only be defined by individuals. If your definition is different from your supervisors (seniors or managers) that is where the problems begin.
