Pros
At Pyka people are very engaged, excited about the future, and eager to help each other. There is a strong sense of community and teamwork. Work life balance is generally kept in check with some hard pushes but time off when needed and no expectation of working consistent long hours. We work on a technically challenging but extremely rewarding project - autonomous electric airplanes that are physically out there in the sky flying every week. Pretty dang cool!
Cons
Startup growing pains, as you might expect, sometimes add inconvenience. Things like growing our facilities, or changing workloads/tasks to accommodate new company goals can be frustrating at times, but also rewarding and a chance to learn new things and broaden your skill set.
