Pros

Qualtrics is growing very quickly and that creates lots of opportunities. People who work well in ambiguous environments, who are proactive and innovative, and who take initiative do very well here. There are some who watch more from the sidelines and wonder why they don't get the same opportunities. My experience has been that if you have a good idea, can make a business case for it and are willing to do the work, then Qualtrics is willing to bet on you and give you as much opportunity as you're willing to take on. In other words, it's not just a growing company, but a company that wants you to grow with it and all the opportunities are there for the people who want them. The culture is also really good. Qualtrics is very thoughtful about its growth and works hard to make sure it keeps what is good about the culture and is always improving in areas where things can get better (they added full payment of healthcare benefits for the employee and their families one year, they added 401K matching the next year, etc. etc.)

Cons

There are constant growing pains. Qualtrics is good at figuring out how to address them, but that doesn't mean that they aren't there. It is a very loyal culture, which can be both good and bad.

Pros

Been here awhile now and there are some great things. The benefits are above average, especially medical. Food is always stocked, and you dont find that everywhere. Company meetings have a lot of energy and spark the drive for a day or two. Then back to sad life

Cons

I'm in client success and it is a dreary grind. We are focused on numbers and numbers and numbers. Performance is measured so close, and then you have to outperform in the next quarter. Goals are not based on any logic, just 25 to 50% more than what you did the quarter before. Its tiring and makes you forget why you're supposed to be here, for the customer. Managers in client success micromanage and use fear tactics. We are not led or inspired in any way, just managed and managed. There is a lot of talent in this group, but I personally know many are waiting for the next opportunity either inside or elsewhere. Managers may be smart but are emotionally unintelligent. No one feels like anyone cares about the employees at all just numbers. A lot has changed here in the past year and not in a good way. This job is not fun or rewarding at all

Pros

The people you work with are extremely intelligent and hard working. They usually come from a strong academic background. Qualtrics does a good job of hiring people that are natural problem solvers.

Cons

Ryan Smith and leadership will do well, the company as a whole will do well but they have saturated the market. They really pitch an auto-promotion within your sales career but they really limit your resources making it harder and harder to hit your OTE. The ones that are single, or have very little expenses are hoping they can just wait it out and put together a couple good quarters to get promoted while the ones with a family have a hard time of making ends meet in this sales job.
