Once a great place to work — now a toxic environment.

Pros

There are still some incredible people at Quantum Health who care deeply about the mission and about helping members. The company once had a strong culture of collaboration, support, and innovation — but unfortunately, that spirit has faded. Kara Trott’s Quantum is fading away,

Cons

New leaders have made some bad hiring decisions creating a toxic and unstable environment especially among Sales Ops. Communication is poor, decisions are inconsistent, and talented employees are dismissed or told to just follow orders. After a major layoff earlier this year, most of the best talent either left voluntarily or are actively seeking new opportunities. Morale is low, and trust in leadership has all but disappeared. Workloads have increased while transparency and respect have decreased. The “people-first” culture Quantum used to be known for is replaced by politics, favoritism, and fear.

Pros

Hybrid after 6 months Starbucks on site

Cons

Working at the call center was emotionally and mentally draining. You handle heartbreaking calls — like patients being denied cancer medication or life-saving infusion treatments — and are expected to immediately take another call without time to process. The company claims to support mental health with “sanctuary rooms,” but using them counts against your metrics, discouraging anyone from taking a breather after tough conversations. Even bathroom breaks are timed, which feels dehumanizing and humiliating. After a mass layoff, they reposted the same positions for $4 less per hour, showing just how replaceable and undervalued employees truly are.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. At Quantum Health, we care deeply about fostering a positive, balanced, and respectful environment where every Warrior feels supported and valued. We’re sorry to hear your experience didn’t reflect the standards we strive to uphold. We continuously evaluate our practices around scheduling, workload, and team support to ensure they align with our mission and ICARE values. Feedback like yours helps us identify opportunities to improve consistency and reinforce the culture we’re proud of. We’d welcome the opportunity to better understand your perspective. Please reach out to HR, me, or your manager so we can learn more and continue making Quantum Health a great place to work for all. – Heather Harper, Quantum Health

Pros

Encouraging fellow employees with a thoughtful view on the positive. There are paths to promotion, and engaging in learning/leadership is encouraged.

Cons

Rapid growth and high turnover have led the overall environment to be unsettled. You don't know if you are the next position to be eliminated or how soon your boss will leave the company. This instability has worsened over recent years as veteran employees have moved on.
