Pros

Free snacks and catered lunches.

Cons

Toxic culture. Management will not acknowledge issues or concerns raised by employees. Never have I felt so unappreciated by an employer from all levels of management. NO flexibility in your work hours at all. You are not treated as a salaried employee.

Pros

The environment and training experience are all superior. They train you from the ground up to know everything you need to know. Some employers offer training which may mean 4 hours—Quantum has a 4-5 week training program, so they don’t just feed you to the wolves. Also, we are making a positive difference in the lives of the members we serve. They promote from within because of the intense training, employees are an investment.

Cons

The pay is low. For everything that is expected of you, someone could earn the starting salary elsewhere with far less responsibility. We are expected to be experts but paid as corporate peons. Instead of offering free snacks and drinks, we should get paid more salary. With the current push to expand the company, the training has been expedited. New employees are making mistakes that could be avoided if they didn’t rush the training process. With growth, that means hiring middle and upper management from without—however those hired externally are getting paid far more than those who have loyally worked for years for the same position.
