Pros

- Above minimum wage pay (base is $15.50/hour) - No weekend shifts - In-depth health insurance education in the training program. - Some very meaningful interactions with insurance members. - Upbeat culture. - Free snacks. - Many people are open to questions and genuinely want to help you find the answer.

Cons

- Very strict requirements for working from home. Only high risk people are considered for it and they are pressured to come back into the office. - Liberal use of mandatory overtime. - Misleading communication from leadership. - Intense and stressful calls from members and providers. - Management hired with little experience in health insurance while we're told to use them as resources when we get stuck or confused. - Instructed to misdirect members when they need to complain to their HR. - Client HRs will redirect members to us for questions we have no training or experience with. - Often times you will receive conflicting answers from management and resources. - When you can't help a member, it can be a very depressing experience. - Increasing pressure on efficiency that coincides with cuts to lunch times and other mandatory overtime. - Executives frequently break mask rules. Please wear a mask, Kara. Covid doesn't care how rich you are. - Sales departments give our clients unrealistic expectations. - The job is draining. You will come home too tired to do anything other than seek entertainment and sleep.

Pros

Good pay , free food, year end party

Cons

Seems impossible to advance it seems to also be about who you know in order to advance and if your not hired into the position don’t expect to move up this is also a huge problem with minorities. Their is also a light presence of colorism.

Pros

co-workers, free food, good benefits, company events

Cons

Unorganized. Departments do not work together and often one has no idea what the other is doing and it causes operational issues. Inconsistent- it can be a great place to work or a horrible place to work based on what manger you are put under. You have no say or input into where you go. Constantly changing the rules and the way they do things without providing training. Ongoing training program is non-existent. Once you go through their new hire training and get to your job, it is up to you to figure anything new, changed or updated on your own. Growing too fast. They can not keep staff and are always hiring and training new staff. They do not have enough employees to meet the demands or comittements they have already made to customers- everyone is overworked, tired and frustrated. It seems the only way to get promoted within the company is to have once managed a restaurant. They are not interested in your education, or your work performance. Biggest complaint- they don't listen to their staff. They say they do- but they do not.
