Pros

Flexible hours, great location near park and easy walk into Hartford, trips to Pratt & Whitney with opportunities to see the shop floor and cool machines

Cons

Mindlessly boring. Actual work time is extremely low and no one seems to care, which creates this weird atmosphere where everyone feels kind of useless but you're getting paid so what's the big deal? The pay isn't bad for starting out, but long term it's not great, but again you're not actually doing a whole lot so technically you're being compensated fairly. Eventually, it kind of just comes down to dignity - there's nothing about this work that's satisfying, but if you're ok with that, then it's fine.

Pros

The location in East Hartford is fairly central.

Cons

Managers don't manage their employees properly - this is what HR told me themselves. Then they turn around and blame the employee for the gap - when it was the manager who drops the ball.
