Pros

The campus is nice, good selection of drinks, fresh fruit, etc.

Cons

Culture does not support pay for performance. Speaking for the finance department- although there are plenty of women working in the group, they are not treated the same as men in terms of pay, promotion, and social respect.

Great culture and environment. Lots of talented colleagues with respectful interactions. Very flexibile in terms of work hours and arrangements.

Cons

Lots of challenges with the acquisition by Dell. Also a fair bit of overlap with different products in the company's portfolio.

Pros

Improved benefits when Dell acquired Quest in 2012. Originally called Dell Software and renamed SIM (Systems Integration Management). Just got sold to Elliott Management and Francisco Partners in June of this year.

Cons

Currently lots of change and upheaval. Old boys network exists where if you are not considered in the inner circle you are ignored. Not a supportive environment for women at all to thrive and develop in. Extremely challenging to get any career development or promotions. There's a definite sense of the Quest side vs. the Dell side and is extremely political. Sales compensation packages are extremely weak and unrealistic. Fine if you have no other choices, but I would run from this company. Since it was sold rumors are it will go back to being Quest Software.
