Pros

Cool people and fast paced.

Cons

Unorganized, last minute deadlines, and expect to work on weekends.

Pros

Lots of responsibility and exposure to complex business problems. Freedom to run your projects as you see fit - no one micro-manages you (or even manages you).

Cons

Little pay, tiny raises. Very little support or awareness of what you do day in and day out - unless something goes wrong. Hard to escalate problems and grab the attention of management. Even harder to get help solving problems.

Pros

Pay was good in comparison to most competitors. I know the Nike team is always insane and relatively unpleasant if you want work-life balance. But since I wasn't on Nike, I worked pretty consistent hours.

Cons

R/GA isn't a bad place to work but I certainly did not enjoy it. I worked on a non-Nike team and it was a total waste of my time. My manager(s) were fine, but all of my co-workers were definitely incompetent. I was lied to about the work I was going to be doing, I was lied to about my benefits and PTO time. So... very bad HR. They basically told me anything to get me hired on and after a short period of time I decided I needed to work in a more professional, higher caliber office.
