Pros

Collaborative, depending on what team you're on Using the latest dev tools, including laptop and monitor Free snacks and coffee Office centrally located and easy to get to, also very modern and well-designed

Cons

Office is very cliquey with a clear divide between management and middle employees Upper management seems threatened by talent and ideas proposed by those outside their discipline Downtown office extremely hard to concentrate, sometimes seems like a party thrown by people not under deadlines at the expense of those who are and Managers of managers of managers More concerned with being "cool" with doing quality work Incredible access to Nike's back catalogue of history to pull from for ideas, yet recycles the same old same old Creative directors who aren't really that creative Focused more on time-sheets than actual work being done Constant double speak; the office keeps "expanding", yet layoffs continue-- 3 in a year as others have mentioned. Events are thrown as a way to make up for people being over worked Gross logistical incompetence; employees sent to the Nike campus for months without the ability to enter the buildings they work in everyday Bodies thrown at projects seemingly just to fill chairs now Barely any reverence given to Nike as a brand, seemingly looked at as an ATM

Pros

This is the most ninja Digital agency that I've ever worked for or even heard of. The people were incredible while they lasted.

Cons

The executive layer is shifty and political to the bone, and that backstabbing culture percolates down despite one's best efforts to avoid it

Pros

Some fun people and the parties are good.

Cons

Most of the senior management team is operating on his or her own agenda and the HR department is no help. It is such a shame that employees have nowhere to turn if they have an issue or need guidance and I think it is a bad sign when the HR department has the highest turnover of all of the departments. Poor performers skate by and those that keep their head down and do their job are not recognized unless they are on a "winning" account.
