Pros

1) smart people 2) good parties 3) you can make great connections The image / brand of R/GA is carefully managed and protected so it will always look good on your resume.

Cons

There will be times when you are tasked with building software solutions that are not fully functional yet delivered as if they are. These people build solutions for awards instead of as products with viability.

Pros

Free sodas and a smoothy on your first day. Lots of talented people.

Cons

Management is a mess over there. The projects seem to be all over the place, there's no real structure. That's why this place is a sweatshop. If you are in a managing position, you are expected to direct a small team, attend meetings, concept and also execute on smaller tasks, which other junior positions can do, but instead, they expect you to do a lot in a ridiculous time frame. Why? Because they don't have budget to allocate other resources. Why? Because they mismanage projects from the ground up. Again, a lot of miscommunication happen in this place. Never going back there, and can walk away knowing that the rumors of this agency as a sweatshop are true.

Pros

Great reputation and client list means other companies come banging on your door to work for them. If you want your work to be seen by millions, than this is the place.

Cons

Seriously the worst part was the egos of some senior people there. It feels like a cast system, where if you don't have the right title your ideas don't matter. The priority list for most cd's evaluating ideas is always; themselves, then r/ga, then the client, then the users. They really care more about winning awards than solving people's problems.
