Pros

Not a single one, except there are a few good people left.

Cons

Everything, this is the most ridiculous company I have ever worked for. They are so corrupt and management doesn't even care so long as HR or upper management isn't notified of the terrible issues in the departments. Lets just say right now most of my department is looking for better positions after they messed up all of our holiday time by making all of us change our schedules right before the holidays (which was the last straw for many of us). -Issues with pay and getting paid on time and correctly -Not allowed to take PTO -Not allowed to take holidays much of the time -Not enough coverage to take breaks -Stupid, prideful, and unskilled manager -No training (or proper training) -No care or acknowledgment for any concerns that an employee my have -And this trend continues...

Pros

My co-workers were the best part of my employment at Donnelley, we all had to stick together. Management was invisible.

Cons

Everything. Benefits are terrible, they just kept getting worse every year. They stopped pensions, medical benefits were so bad I was afraid to even go to the doctor. The only reviews that are good about this company are the employees from India. Donnelley sends everything to India and will eventually get rid of everyone from the U.S. They always have lay offs. Management is only out for themselves. HR is non existent and downright corrupt. Its very sad what has happened to this company. I had to give my review 1 star because the process would not let me send ZERO stars which is what this company deserves

Pros

There is nothing good about working at RR Donnelley in Columbia, SC - ESPECIALLY if it is for a Columbia Solutions Group CSR position!

Cons

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. The manager is old and has no new ideas. She leaves your job in the hands of a 20-something year old right-out-of-college "child" who likes to cuss and brag about drinking as her only hobby. She is your "Lead" but has only worked on ONE account the whole 2 years she has worked at RRD. She has no idea how to help you on your accounts and will talk horribly about you behind your back like a high-schooler to other co-workers and management. And for some reason they actually listen to what she has to say!! They promoted ONE PERSON while I was there and she was consistently 20 mins late for her job and stayed on her cell phone all day at her desk. The systems that you use ALL DAY EVERY DAY are horrible, antiquated, and very glitchy. The computers that they provide are vastly outdated and if you have software issues they just tell you to get over it - causing you to have to click away pop-up alert messages hundreds of times a day. The chairs they provide are nasty, torn, and creaky. Pay is horrible. ZERO RAISES - they tell you there are great opportunities in your interview to get you in the door and NEVER DELIVER. WORK TO LIFE BALANCE does not exist in Q4. You work long horrible hours and nobody gets to be off around the holidays. DO NOT TAKE A JOB HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS!!!
