Pros

Some amazing co-workers. Flex time is a nice benefit.

Cons

Management is horrible from the top to the floor. This place has destroyed every ounce of happiness in me. Poor pay, no raises and no bonuses. Management throws employees under the bus and rarely recognize employees for their achievements. No benefit for being a go-getter or going above and beyond... it is actually discouraged. Work tons of overtime with nothing to show for it

Pros

Honestly, can't think of many positive aspects, even if trying to be fair. Some good people there, but mostly the younger ones who haven't been tainted yet and don't have enough (or any) experience outside RRD to know better. In many respects, the company is very well run. It is largely successful, lean, and back-office functions are solid. That comes at the expense of high-turnover from a churn-em and burn-em mentality. They are willing to fire people, and entire departments, if they are too vocal and not aligned with management.

Cons

Benefits are horrible, getting worse year over year, even when company does well. Mid to upper management largely worked their way up by being rubber-stamps to those above. The clique mentality is so strong that if you are not in, you're out... way out.

Pros

RRD is a good place to work. The position is challenging, yet fun, and the people that I work with are understanding and flexible.

Cons

While the company seems to have all kinds of cash to buy up any competition we have, they can't seem to financially reward their employees for a job well done. Sure, we get a BS email quarterly from the CEO, who tells us how grateful he is for us, it doesn't help at all with the rising costs of living, and it's getting very disheartening.
