Pros

Was able to secure listings based on branding not experience. Made a 6 figure salary in first year then half a million by year 3 as a single sales agent with no team. Provides access to marketing materials, sales training and lead generation so new agents can hit the ground running. Brokerages in my area are independent & locally owned so each broker will offer their own unique office culture.

Cons

As a real estate agent is technically a contractor one can only blame themselves for any shortcomings.
