Employee compensation is a priority for RHA. We are constantly looking at ways to decrease unnecessary expenses and more efficient to be able to give employees pay increases. With state funding of our services decreasing over the last 6 years it has been a challenge to give employees the pay increases they deserve. We will continue to advocate for employee compensation.

Pros

The house that I worked in was wonderful as far as clients and staff.

Cons

The pay is incredibly low for the position. There is never an increase, where I worked you top out at $9.50 after 90 days. They cannot keep competent staff because of the low wages. Clients are used as cash cows. They stress clients rights but only if it fits into their needs.

Thank you for your feedback and comments. Employee compensation is constantly on our minds. The reimbursement rate for services we provide has been frozen since 2008 and this makes pay increases a challenge. We encourage all of our employees and others in our communities to advocate for increases in our reimbursement rates to allow us to pay our employees more for the incredible work they do.
