Pros

Some great colleagues that love what they do, mission-driven work with many opportunities to learn.

Cons

They'll use you for your expertise, overwork you, let you go out of no where... and then keep high paid c-suite/leadership who spend their days golfing (really), attending conferences to "network" and bragging on LinkedIn about the work they've done on government contracts and how meaningful it is to them ... when they had no part of it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad the mission-driven work and your colleagues left a positive impression — that sense of purpose and the talent we attract are things we're genuinely proud of at RIVA. We're sorry your departure didn't feel like a respectful transition. Decisions around staffing are never taken lightly, and we recognize that the way a chapter ends shapes how the entire experience is remembered. That matters to us. On your feedback about leadership visibility and top-down culture — we hear you, and it's the kind of input we take seriously. RIVA's strength has always come from the people doing the work, and ensuring that talent has a voice in shaping our direction is something we're actively focused on. If you're open to a conversation, we'd welcome it. Please reach out to our People & Culture team at people@rivasolutionsinc.com.

Thank you for sharing this. Good pay and flexibility are a foundation, and we appreciate you acknowledging them — but we also know they're not the whole picture. Your advice on retention and incentivizing strong work is well taken. We're focused on making RIVA a place where high performers are recognized and rewarded, and where leadership is visibly committed to the people doing the work. We know there's a gap between where we are and where we want to be, and we're working to close it. If you'd like to share more, our People & Culture team is at people@rivasolutionsinc.com
