      Pros

      I love working at Riva! Great people, a pretty good work-life balance, although more PTO would be nice. Culture is awesome. Nice to have off all federal holidays

      Cons

      They switch around the HR pretty often. Could have more PTO. Might have to leave soon because my project is ending and i won't know until then if there will be more work for me.

      A great company to work for until they lose the contract and lay everyone off

      Pros

      You don't really interact with anyone from RIVA at all so i guess thats a positive. It is just a shell of a company that collects all the surplus value off of your labor. They love to throw big parties and galas for "networking" and "team-building" to post on LinkedIn, especially after they lay off a majority of their workforce. I reported to my team leads who worked directly within the Federal Government, or to other government contractors who were not affiliated at all with RIVA. Those people were great and were some of the smartest and hardworking people I've ever had the pleasure to serve. I'm sure they have all been laid off or furloughed as well. As far as I know, no one who worked directly for RIVA had any idea what I did or what my position entailed.
