This company DOES NOT hire temporary/contract workers. I didn't know this at first but HR informed me that this position would only be temporary. I also overheard SOMEONE (whispering) saying that she was "back at square one" because the company wouldn't hire one of her contractors permanently or extend their contract after it ended even though this person was a good employee. I worked on the Beauty Team for one month before I stopped reporting to work. It was awful. Lack of communication. Lack of structure. No training. I mostly completed random tasks from different departments that they didn't feel like doing themselves. Most functions are performed manually, using archaic systems. Heavy use of Microsoft excel. Glassdoor won't accept my review if it's more specific than this.

Male dominated company,no women in any high management positions, condescending male managers who never respect women, no knowledge of developing future business -- arrogantly relies on current contacts to grow business and will not help new sales associates AT ALL. Gives all leads and help to existing male sales team who has been in place for 20 years.
