Pros

Flexible schedules and solid PTO. Good Benifits. Decent senior leadership. Cool products. Sense of pride in your country and the war fighter.

Cons

Very hard to get promoted, you must make a move in the company. Lots of old aerospce dinosaurs. Too many processes and systems.

Pros

The cross-functional nature of the projects allow you to learn from many people with various levels of experience and diverse skill sets.

Cons

Seniority often trumps performance and merit. Promotions are usually based on years of experience and not performance nor potential. The culture is slow to change.

Pros

Large company with a variety of opportunities for advancement. Ability to move fairly easily between sites and business areas. Great benefits package and fair compensation.

Cons

Because it is a large company you often have to take your career development into your own hands. Sometimes there are disconnects between program and functional managment.
