Pros

Fantastic, visionary leadership--creating one of the most innovative real estate owners out there. Really stable--company raised money during COVID Strong focus on ethics and values (particularly unique in New York real estate) Vertically integrated platform is really interested--can (and often do) try new things Smaller firm relative to bx/brookfield means you get a lot more responsibility and get to wear many hats Growing like crazy--which means more responsibility

Cons

Growth opportunities also means you are always challenged/stretched. Not everyone likes this--some people want a basic 9-5 job The "bar" is high. "Tough but fair" is a common refrain here. You cannot "get away" with a half-baked job here. But they are not unreasonably high.

Long hours, lacks work - life balance, expect overtime to be worked when unnecessary, lacks training, lacks true leadership in departments
