Just good for experience and then move on. Not for longevity.
Pros
Techs and other PSRs we're great to work with. It was good to learn new skills working in radiology office. I learned a lot with processing MD orders, medical records, basic coding, and medical terminology. The position itself was not stressful.
Cons
I didn't enjoy seeing how techs and managers got terminated. I understand that one has to be careful when terminating people but the way it was done was very demeaning and was unprofessional. One person had already put in their 2 weeks notice but chose to let them go early. We had to say our goodbyes while they were lurking in the back ground. Also my experience with HR and upper management was conflicting and they seemed to make up rules as they go. Also an employee asked about a raise and was told to look for another job. They only care about the techs and not the front office who work really hard to satisfy the patients and have to deal with them just as much as the techs. Not professional they show favoritism to specific employees.
