      Pros

      One of the best parts about working at Raftelis is how collaborative the work is, and management is always willing to help and support their team, in my experience. I’ve only had positive experiences with clients and there is a lot of room to grow within the company.

      Cons

      There is a large learning curve when starting off because the work varies so much by project, but this is not so much a con as it is a reality of all consulting jobs!

      Great place to work and wonderful team BUT pay is below industry average

      Pros

      Great place to learn, good communication, good benefits, amazing work culture, good leadership, and a judgement free work environment.

      Cons

      The pay is quite low for the software industry and especially in the area making it hard to afford living in the area.

We understand that affordability can be a significant challenge, especially in areas with higher living costs. We recently engaged with compensation consultants, developed a new compensation philosophy, developed an additional career track for consultants, reviewed market data specifically for our data services team, and adjusted salaries effective the first of January. Your input is vital in helping us identify opportunities for improvement, and we are committed to addressing challenges thoughtfully.

      Pros

      Raftelis seems to care about its employees and treats them well. My manager is very understanding and receptive to taking time off. I work remotely and am able to work flexible hours, as long as I am available during business hours. Raftelis also seems to care about company culture; the company regularly schedules company retreats to unite the different offices, and makes a concerted effort at promoting DEI. They also have some good benefits, including free health insurance and discretionary PTO.

      Cons

      The salary range of my position is not competitive with other similar software jobs in Washington state.
