Pros

The compensation is competitive. Once management recognizes your eagerness to contribute, they ensure you have plenty of work to engage with.

Cons

Insufficient paid time off leaves employees feeling trapped, deprived of the much-needed moments to recharge and connect with their loved ones, perpetually tethered to their workloads without the opportunity to savor life's simpler pleasures. Need at least 80hrs. of PTO.

Cons

If you like being micro managed, lied to and treated like a lower life form, RailPros is the job you’ve been looking for.

Pros

Some of the coworkers are great, unfortunately, many of the best ones have already left or are on their way out.

Cons

Leadership constantly says to “reach out to People Operations” if you have concerns, but that department is in complete disarray and a big part of the problem. They’ve let go of strong employees out of insecurity, while others are leaving because they’ve had enough of the dysfunction. There’s no real growth unless you’re a favorite. It’s demoralizing to see people without PE licenses getting promoted or hired over those who actually have the credentials and experience. Decisions are inconsistent, favoritism is rampant, and morale is low across the board. Reaching out does nothing, there’s no accountability, and nothing changes.
