Pros

- fam trips - promote from within - working remote - cameras on policy to continue office like environment. - not just a name or employee id number - HR is very apparent here and not because they act as a guidance counselor (shouldn’t be case) but they actually do the HR role.

Cons

- some people misinterpret what work from home means. You still work. It’s not time to go to beach or hang out most of day - sometimes a lot is pushed into one person while others are hungry for opportunity and more leadership - pay is great for sales!.. but can be a challenge for supporting teams. However once you put hardwork it does pay off. - communication at times doesn’t not get passed down efficiently but it is something that is being worked on. - some guidance on rookie management is needed. Being remote things can go unheard of or seen. Just continue to provide guidance. Can’t learn by seeing others as much. - there are times where you may kick things up and not that it goes unheard of, but it goes in actioned and then the challenge increases down the line. This happens anywhere.

Pros

Railbookers has genuinely been a great place to grow both professionally and personally. In my role, I’ve been able to work closely with a variety of departments, which has given me exposure to different parts of the business and helped me build a really well-rounded skill set. I’ve always felt like my contributions are valued, and the team culture here is incredibly supportive—everyone’s willing to help each other out, and there's a real sense of camaraderie. One of the things I appreciate most is the flexibility, especially being able to work remotely and even away from my primary address when needed. That’s been such a huge benefit around the holidays when I want to spend time with family without missing work. If you’re looking for a company that’s dynamic, people-oriented, and flexible, I’d definitely recommend Railbookers.

Cons

Because I assist across multiple teams, priorities can occasionally overlap, which requires extra coordination. A bit more role-specific training or documentation would help new hires ramp up faster.

Cons

Management freaks out if they don’t know what you’re doing. Having your camera on is a HUGE deal for them. They also lie in the interview to get you to join them. Be very careful with this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. With over 350 staff members across 6 countries and 33 U.S. states, creating connections and fostering a positive company culture is very important to us. One way we encourage this is by having cameras on during meetings to help team members engage and build relationships. We also offer various engagement initiatives, such as our wellness club, cooking club, pet club, music club, and travel club, to promote connection and teamwork. If you're open to it, we would love to discuss your experience further. Please feel free to contact me or anyone in our HR department at 949-876-6747 or at hr@railbookers.com.
