Pros

Great pay and room for growth in the company.

Cons

After reading several reviews, I felt the need to bring more awareness to the critical issue of work-life balance. I truly hope the CEO sees this review because this isn’t just about complaining—it’s about the unsustainable hours that we, as salaried leaders, are being asked to work. The current scheduling expectations have us working 2 mid-shifts, one closing shift, and two open shifts each week. This leaves us with virtually no time for appointments or family activities. On our two days off, we’re either trying to recover from the lack of sleep caused by the grueling 10-hour mid-shifts/ closing shift or catching up on basic errands. (real quick mid shifts are 10am-8pm and closing shifts are 2pm-12am or sometimes 4pm-2am) It’s exhausting, and it’s making it impossible to enjoy any semblance of a personal life. I honestly wish we could go back to the way things were. Right now, I find myself working even harder just to keep everyone happy and the restaurant up to standard, but it’s coming at a high personal cost.

Pros

If you like cult culture, this is the job for you!

Cons

If you like working with, AND for, a bunch of backstabbing, gaslighting, creepy old men, there are no cons!

Pros

If you're management, they do some things that would look like they care.

Cons

They follow absolute minimum guidelines required by law for everything. Breaks, insurance, time off, etc. that means that if you work in Ohio YOU GET ZERO BREAKS. I regularly have worked 10+hour shifts and am expected to do so with zero breaks, paid or unpaid. How they think this is ok I will never understand. They also run on a "3 strike system" so any 3 infractions, no matter what they are or how far apart they occur could end in termination. I have never worked for a company that didn't have coachings, write ups, whatever you decide to call them on some type of rolling calendar. They also intentionally mis-label their job positions to trick people into positions below their experience (for example, what they call "restaurant managers" are nothing but shift leads. "Restaurant leaders" are store managers)
