Pros

I started at Rapid Response fresh out of college over 13 years ago and have continued to grow with the company since. I started as an operator and then moved up through several positions including, Operations Shift Trainer, Answering Service Supervisor, Signal Management Specialist, and most recently Signal Management Supervisor. The day to day atmosphere at Rapid Response is very fast paced and and productive leaving you with a feeling of accomplishment when you go home at night. The company is growing quickly which is allowing them to not only hire additional staff members, but to also advance their current staff into higher level positions.

Pros

I have been working for Rapid for a few years and this week the President of the company took me and some of my co-workers on a personal tour of the new building they built. I was blown away by how nice it was! The operations floor has so much light with giant video screens and they added a breakroom that has a fireplace and a patio. The bathrooms have been an issue before and they added new ones that are individual and are nicer than some hotels I've been in! I can't wait until we move in!

Cons

Some of the noise during the construction has been a little loud, but really it hasn't been bad at all.

Pros

Decent starting pay, good benefits, mostly good co-workers

Cons

There is a lot more to write here. I'll be brief though. You are treated like a second class citizen. You are picked apart for the smallest error. Even ones that created no problems. Almost like "dotting i's and crossing t's" They write you up for every infraction to build ammunition to fire you ANY time they want. I have taken more abuse there then any job I have ever had. No matter how hard you work, they hold raises back until you jump through hoops. And then usually not. The management and supervisors are sneaks. Not a great quality. When you truly try to help someone, especially the elderly on medical alarms, you get written up for going above and beyond. They want you to lose the call as fast as possible, even when you can help someone. You are treated like a child, and watched like a hawk. Very two faced. They have their favorites, and everyone else can run past them in flames and they would not waste a glass of water on you. The bonuses people on here talk about are almost IMPOSSIBLE to reach. Very few people see them
