Pros

- Opportunity to grow a global CSP business. - Work with industry-leading vendors & technologies. - A plethora of people who deeply want to ensure their work means something. - Culture of cross-collaboration and open communication. - Parent company is very invested in RapidScale's success

Cons

- Decision makers seem to be chosen by nepotisim and charisma and not skill or value to the business - Sales will sell things that do not exist, product will then make it into something that is not possible, Marketing will misrepresent it and Legal will write contracts that put the business at risk, Project Managers do not manage projects, Delivery frequently misses crucial details, Support provides out of scope work and causes damage to customer environments. - The company has embarrassed itself multiple times with large enterprise customers and continues to make the same mistakes. - I.T. operations is consistently blamed for the customer experience and told to make it work no matter what. - Anyone who deeply cares about the customer ends up working insane hours and the business will continue to burn them out. - Risk of most technical roles being outsourced to overseas labor.

Pros

- Positive shift in company culture with some fresh perspectives - Strong emphasis on passion for your work—if you love what you do (sales, engineering, project management, support, architecture, etc.), you'll thrive - Rewards self-driven individuals who see challenges as opportunities/puzzles to solve - Excellent customer-service focus and genuine problem-solving mindset - Pay, benefits, and time off are competitive and comparable to industry standards - Great work/life balance but there are long days and there are lighter days

Cons

- Ongoing transformational shift brings short-term challenges (new tech, processes, breaking from "that's the way we've always done it") - May feel demanding if you prefer stability over change - Still repeating mistakes from the past but slowly improving

Pros

Benefits, a steady paycheck, and the best colleagues you could ask for.

Cons

Hypocritical Leadership: A rigid, punitive Return-to-Office (RTO) policy is being enforced on local staff while over half of the executive team remains remote, 4 out of 7 are remote. This "do as I say, not as I do" mentality has shattered company morale. Toxic Management Culture: Leadership leans on intimidation and "radical compliance" rather than trust. Publicly telling dissatisfied employees to "just leave" has created a culture of fear and contempt. Instability: Constant "fire drill" mentalities, shifting goals, and poor strategic planning result in wasted hours and employee burnout. High Turnover & Brain Drain: Excessive layoffs followed by aggressive hiring of "yes-people" has led to a massive loss of tribal knowledge. Star performers are "rage quitting" due to being overworked (doing the jobs of 3–4 people) or being pipped out because they don't fall in line with newer regime. Lack of Growth & Resources: While the workforce is called the "growth engine," employees are denied the resources and career paths needed to succeed, while upper management layers continue to expand through nepotism. Questionable Ethics: A culture of protectionism for those close to the top, leading to a total deficit of accountability for leadership.
