      Pros

      The people in my group are good to work with and the product is somewhat challenging to work on, too.

      Cons

      This company is notorious for paying its employees a lower than average wage for comparable work elsewhere in the industry.

      Pros

      Freedom to use tools you think best solve the problem. Ability to work crossfunctionally in different disciplines. Opportunity to work internationally.

      Cons

      Freedom to use any tool you want means lack of consistency across teams. Lack of vision for the company. Leadership and unified purpose missing.

      Smart people, working on the wrong things

      Pros

      Lots of very smart people working there. (Plenty of less-smart folks as well.) The corporate culture is fun, the lunch room and bowling halls are nice perks, and many offices have a view of the water.

      Cons

      No clear company direction. Occasionally it's just plain embarrassing to say you work there. Everyone who works there says "I never meant to stay here this long."
