Pros

As a former tradition real estate agent, Redfin gives a sense of security and does pay generously- without taking from buyers/sellers. The balance is fair and almost unbelievable- but it works. Team vibe from within. We say we are a "team". We actually are. If my co worker gets a deal, I cheer them on. For real. To New England, Redfin is almost unimaginable. Friendly corporate, fair pay, honest answers.

Cons

Nothing. I imagine sticking with Redfin and have no intention of ever practicing real estate in the "old way" ever again.

Pros

I have really enjoyed working at Redfin so far. Lots of great training and positive people. I especially like the flexibility of working as an Associate Agent (and as independent contractor). I can work as much or as little as I like. The website and technology is also very good.

Cons

The only con is that income is not consistent. I am content with this situation but if you were more dependent on consistent income it might be a problem (and/or if you wanted to work a lot of hours every week - some weeks lots of hours are available but other weeks they are not).
