Great place to work

Pros

Redgate place a heavy emphasis on being a great place to do great work. A lot of time and energy is put into the culture, environment, benefits etc. to make sure that's true, as far as possible. Its also full of lovely people - without both of these things, I don't think I would have stayed here so long!

Cons

Collaboration across divisional boundaries isn't very good, quite often leading to unnecessary duplication of work, or requests being made without enough advanced warning.

Pros

I've worked here for 8 years, first as a contractor, now a permanent employee. It's the best company I've worked at, I've had four different roles so I've had the chance to progress and learn. I like the work ethic, my colleagues and how the company treats us, it's relaxed but hard working. The flexi-time and canteen are great, I love the extras like the Christmas Party and Summer Day out plus the team events.

Cons

Honestly don't have any, that's why I'm still here after 8 years.

Pros

- Really supportive and collaborative environment where it feels like everyone is working together towards the same goals. - Positive culture and good benefits (including tasty free food, profit sharing/bonus scheme and paid 6 week sabbatical after 5 years) - Strong company values that are practiced, not just written down. Having a work-life balance is encouraged. It feels like Redgate cares about its people, as well as its customers. - Great colleagues!

Cons

Limited chances for career progression in some roles, though there are always opportunities to develop new skills, work on new initiatives and sometimes move between roles/departments.
