Pros

I worked as an Usher at a theater. The pros are that you are walking around and there are various tasks that need to be done and you can sort of decide what you want to do at any specific moment. If you do not like to walk or stand, this is not a goof job for you.

Cons

No upward mobility. People work here for years and never get promoted. Wage increase is not based on performance. Starts at minimum wage and increases .25 every year you work.

Pros

*Free movies! for just you and one guest...if you're fortunate enough to work at a theater where the GM will lets you take your family then...a few more :) *Had an awesome Assistant manager that was WAY too GOOD and Capable to be working there BUT not all theaters are so fortunate ... * I QUIT :)

Cons

The usual... Over worked. Under staffed. UN Flexible. Non existent raises. HR department values customer 'hearsay' more then Management...those who are actually there. (This is from an Associate manager point of view...employee is worse)
