Pros

Not much is required beyond showing up and being reasonably polite towards customers.

Cons

Stupid upselling techniques require employees to make idiotic suggestions to customers(required to offer every single customer a large coke with their order, even if one has already been ordered.) Assistant managers are laughable, and use their position as an excuse to delegate almost every task to floor employees.

Pros

The managers hire great people, you get to watch free movies, it's not a hard job

Cons

At my theater there's favoritism, myself included. If you're not "friends" with the right managers, you won't get good shifts, and there's no chance for promotion.
