      No work life balance. Cut throat work culture.

      Pros

      Benefits are good. Standard 401k and medical subpar compared to other banks.

      Cons

      Expect to be available 24/7 including work on Saturdays. Four meetings every week, we are expected to hit outrageous quotas. Worked in a local regional bank four 4 years before coming to Regions. Worst mistake of my life. So much corporate red tape HR looks for a reason to fire you for the smallest mistake.

      Great line level people, poor management

      Pros

      The people you work with day to day are great. They care about the job and the people around them. Legacy of the company formerly having a gray culture.

      Cons

      Going down hill fast. Major shifts in leadership in the last 4 years have led to a significant declines in the people first culture they profress to push. Pay it's mediocre and they completely rob internal promotion/hires with a draconian pay raise schedule. Flexible/ remote work is on the way out there.

      A decent place to work until you find something better

      Pros

      Quaterly bonus if you meet performance goals. 12 paid holidays off.

      Cons

      Slow to promote deserving employees. Too much focus on GreenPrints (financial reviews) and Teleconect (outbound) calls rather than employee growth and advancement. Managers stay gone from the branch to promote more business which leads to more frustrated customers and workers.
