Pros

The work is not difficult. As a matter of fact, it is the "professional" equivalent of a retail sales environment akin to Best Buy, Buckle, or Ulta. Little to no financial knowledge or expertise is required.

Cons

Little to no financial knowledge or expertise is required, which is illustrated in the performance of a cross section of associates. Accordingly, there is limited upward mobility, outside of a well established "good old boy" network.

Pros

Competitive benefits and good work life balance. Was continually challenged, but also had the full support of coworkers. Enjoyed the exposure to multiple industries.

Cons

Can be overwhelming during busy season. Expect to work long hours during the Spring/early Summer. Large amounts of documentation work that can be monotonous.
