      Pros

      The associates at Regions are the best. The company has a strong culture and very loyal associates. Very generous benefits and vacations. Good work environment.

      Cons

      No opportunity for advancement beyond branch management. Nearly impossible to move out of consumer banking. Company would rather hire outside candidates than qualified internal candidates. Compensation is terrible, as are raises. Sales goals are very high. Bankers are expected to sell, sell, sell and make outbound phone calls on a weekly basis. Company has reached quarterly financial goals by cost cutting and, boy, does it show.
