Pros

Therapy team was great. Patients over enjoy participating in therapy.

Cons

The company doesn't seem to care about patients and their needs. They focus too much on productivity and meeting RUG levels. Plan on making poor ethical decisions or at least putting yourself into ethical dilemmas.

Pros

The good staff leave when they can!

Cons

One of the greediest companies you will find in health care. Productivity is insane as they push added paperwork that is just repetitive information. The time spent with patients is almost entirely spent documenting. They only use therapists for evaluations, progress notes, UPOC, and discharges. Rarely do therapists see their patients. Holidays and weekends become non existent. Staff burnout is HIGH! Raises are rare. Don't be fooled acute and ARU settings are just as bad. The field staff support the lifestyles of the corporate staff.

Pros

The treating therapist make a very good working atmosphere. I have met a lot of knowledgeable people through this company and I am grateful for that. Salary for a first PTA is also very good to to get your feet off the ground.

Cons

Very poor management. People understand that Health Care is a business, but when you put the business before your employees and the ethical practices of physical therapy then there is a problem. There is no reason for anyone that is ill, or literally on their death bed that should be a 75 min treatment just because you want the mins. Upper management is very poor, they (as most big companies) do not want to hear the comments and concerns of the treating therapists. Also, if you are contracted for say 35 hours per week and they say you are guaranteed these hours YOU ARE NOT! You will be short hours if the facility is low and they do not care.
