Worst company I've ever worked for

Pros

There are no pros with this company

Cons

High productivity"requirements " at 95% for assistants, forced group treatments .Regional Manager sets schedules with groups assigned to patients who are not appropriate (bed bound, severe cognitive impairment). Limited budget for necessary equipment for rehab gym and patients: try getting a new WC or a splint for a patient. No annual review or raise. They over staff with the objective of forcing therapist to build a case load because if your full time and don't have enough patients to reach 95% productivity you go home ,Lately we've been working 5 hour days because we're over staffed and we do not have enough patients to treat. If a therapist does an evaluation and does not pick up at patient they are told to go back and put the patient on caseload or another therapists will be told to do an evaluation and pick up the patient. The greed and misuse of medicare benefits is astounding and no one seems to be addressing the issue. Meanwhile this publicly traded company is making massive profits for their investors . Anyone under 30 won't have medicare available because companies like Reliant are parasites .

Pros

Well established company and therapists I have worked with are quality professionals. Local rehab directors are typically understanding and caring.

Cons

Reliant consistently proves their only priority is revenue with a blatant disgregard for work environment and patient care with focus solely on extreme productivity standards (the "minimum" for full time is 85%; however, it is constantly pushed to do group and concurrent treatment and in doing so have a productivity greater than 100% consistently) and billing high unit/minute numbers regardless of actual patient need. Therapist clinical judgement is rarely respected and even low level patients are pushed to be seen for 69 minutes daily if med B. It is discouraged to take PTO and/or utilize PRN as it negatively impacts other numbers/revenue. Employee benefits are also poor with no 401k matching, expensive health benefits, and no ability to be paid out/utilize any accrued PTO if you do decide to leave the company. Pay rates are also well below the averages for the areas in which you work regardless of years of experience.

Pros

There are ZERO pros of working for this company

Cons

-low pay, I wonder why they prefer new grads… -push groups like madmen -outrageously low treatment minutes -poor management starting from the area managers -treating clinicians are just a number Do you want to have 15-22 patients on your schedule for 15-28 minutes each? If so come on down to Reliant Rehab, where the patients don’t matter nor do the treating clinicians matter. You are literally just seen as a revenue stream. If you’re not doing groups DAILY, you’re not trying hard enough. If you’re not a workaholic that like to work 10 hours days in 8 hours, you’re not trying hard enough. This company is absolutely terrible and I have no idea how they’re still around (maybe it’s all the unethical practices). There’s a reason a LABOR lawsuit was filed against them. They do NOT and will NOT ever care about YOU.
