Pros

The people I work with & the residents I help.

Cons

Full-time employee one day, & get a call another day & suddenly are PRN without benefits. Tell you one thing then do another. Demand 95% productivity with no tech & limited computers for documentation purposes. Vacation requests not being approved timely. Changed policy for PTO to no longer be earned time off, but @ discretion of employer, no carryover to following year, no cash-outs, & decreased # of time-off hours paid. Poor upper management response & no concern for the employee.

Pros

Many facilities served, yet this may not be a pro. Probably a con for Medicare

Cons

This company is very driven by the bottom line. This is not a company which puts patients first. It is sad that employees are "encouraged" to push Medicare limits in regards to reimbursement. I have worked for this company for 3 years now and I have yet to experience higher management suggesting how to better the lives and therapy experiences of our clientele. Sadly, all meetings have been in regards to optimizing reimbursement and not optimizing patient outcomes. Always about the bottom line and they have no problem with educating therapists by means of unethical tactics in order to maximize reimbursement.

Pros

They have family values and are very understanding.. With all of the Medicare cuts, all companies across the nation are having cuts whether it be salary cuts and/or staff cuts...if they do not make these cuts then , the companies just will not survive..this is with any company whether it be Reliant or Aegis or Functional Pathways...and I could name many others...Reliant has updated its Policies and Procedures for 2013 as well as will be having a Reliant Cares type of committee compiled of therapist selected within the regions to address concerns and policies as they relate to their employees..This is a big step in the right direction and truely shows that they do care..My appologies to the therapists and staff that are disgruntled...maybe my advice to you is to step back and truely look at what is going on around you...

Cons

it is sometimes hard to get a hold of HR..
