Pros

This company has been a complete disappointment. There are no positives to speak of. I cannot recommend them to anyone based on my experience.

Cons

This has been the worst company experience I have ever had. The treatment is inconsiderate, unfair, and they show no regard for their employees. I want to share my experience during my probationary period, as I feel it’s important for prospective employees to be aware of the challenges that may arise if they decide to join this company. Unrealistic Expectations from the Start : From day one, the company’s approach was extremely unfair. Your performance score is based solely on the first three months, without any consideration of the unique challenges you might face during this time. First Month:
During my first month, I was placed into production without any proper support. My team consisted of other new hires, and there was no one to guide us. Despite this lack of support, there was an immediate expectation to meet performance targets, even though we had no chance to learn or adapt. Second Month:
In the second month, the company transitioned me to a more complex task (EDD), which had been handled by a senior and specialized team. This was a significant step up, and I had no real support to take on this responsibility. As a new employee, how was I supposed to manage a complex task like this without even being fully familiar with the basic duties? Yet again, the expectation was to hit performance targets immediately. Third Month:
By the third month, the company assigned me tasks that were not even covered during training, expecting me to figure things out on my own. They placed additional pressure on me to perform flawlessly, without giving me the necessary resources or support to succeed. Lack of Empathy for Personal Circumstances : To make matters worse, the company shows no understanding when employees face genuine personal challenges. For instance, during a typhoon, when we couldn’t make it to work due to severe weather conditions, we was threatened with a Notice to Explain (NTE) for not attending. Despite the situation being covered widely in the news, and even though we informed them through the proper channels about my inability to report due to the storm, they demanded unnecessary proof (like photos or videos) to justify our absence. This is not only unreasonable but also disrespectful of employees’ circumstances. No Room for Feedback or Growth : This company seems to have a high turnover rate, with employees coming and going regularly. If you raise concerns or provide feedback to higher management, your voice will likely be ignored. They make it clear that they expect only “exceptional” people to succeed without any room for adjustments or learning curves. However, I believe even the most exceptional employees need some flexibility and support to perform at their best. It is disheartening to work in an environment where there is no acknowledgment of personal growth or the challenges new employees face. Final Thoughts : In conclusion, I would strongly advise prospective candidates to think carefully before applying to this company. The lack of support, unrealistic expectations, and poor treatment of employees during critical periods like probationary months make it an environment that is difficult to thrive in. Be aware of the challenges ahead and consider whether this is a company that truly values its workforce.

Pros

Good facilities; nice colleagues; not too much pressure.

Cons

No transparency; lies during the hiring process, promises a false schedule and changes it for a bad schedule/bad shifts after hiring, description/advertising of the job is also false, last minute changes are made with no notice, uses psychology to pretend they are delivering their promises and to pretend they are hearing the employees; promises career development, but only some people are allowed to apply internally (it is especially easy if you are a relative, or a boyfriend/girlfriend of someone there); people get depressed and disappointed after they start and find out they were caught in a trap.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback and we take it very seriously. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed working with your colleagues and found our facilities to be good! We want to assure you that we do not make false promises or intentionally mislead our employees, since the schedule may change in order to support our customers and employees and hence the recruiting team is relying on the information which they have in regards to the current shifts/schedules. The contract also does mention that shift may be subject to change in the future (if this aligns better with supporting our customers), yet all such changes are communicated to employees in advance and shift changes are only made when absolutely necessary. We also take career development very seriously and believe that everyone should have equal opportunities to grow and advance within the company. We do not tolerate any preferential treatment towards relatives or partners of our employees. If you have specific concerns or examples of such behavior, we encourage you to reach out to HR. Thank you again for your feedback. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Best regards, Remitly Team

Pros

Free coffee and snacks Office it's in city center

Cons

Remitly is a company where every manager and HR will lie to you and then will tell you that there was miscomunication and that it was you who understood things differently. Is also a company where it doesn't matter that you don't have the appropiate skills or minimum knowledge to be a manager. You already did an interview and got the position. You've won the lottery. They are firing people who spoke up and didn't settle for unfairness. So goodbye freedom! Internal promotion will be now impossible . They have approved something called secondments. Which basically is that a manager selects someone that they like to make a temporary job. Which also means that this temporary job was not public to everyone and lets the rest of the office without opportunities to appy. Hard work doesn't pay off. Core values are just values to learn to pass the interview.
