The product is focused on educating and helping teachers work more successfully with data for each child.

Cons

If you question what is happening or point out a flaw in what is going on then you are accused of having a bad attitude. This is prevalent throughout the company. There isn't a strategy or vision so people are lost and micromanaged from higher ups. The approach is outdated and there isn't opportunity to learn. The pay is just under competitive. Long hours are expected to compensate for bad leadership decisions. The culture is hierarchical and patriarchal. The people do not have a voice in what is happening.

The benefits were great. Majority of people were really, really nice.

Cons

Although people were really nice, there was hardly an environment for creativity. You felt like you were working in a manufacturing environment and you had to do your job and not think. The company was more than happy to cover a problem up with people. People are the greatest assets, but problems don't fix themselves. Not a mindset of a innovative technology company, regardless of industry.
