Reasonably competitive benefits, not much else

Cons

I worked for Renown as an employed doctor for just over two years. It was a bad experience start to finish. Management was nonexistent, morale was really bad across all the departments and people just work there because, in Reno, Renown is really the only game in town. Promises of change are made and promptly forgotten. Do yourself a favor and ask questions of physicians they DONT introduce you to in the interview.

It is a level 2 trauma center.

Cons

The education is terrible and very unorganized, management and supervisors have only a year or two of nursing experience, the pay is one of the worst in the area, they are quick to punish and thrive on putting staff down.
