Supportive co-workers Friendly work environment Support from management - They seek your input and value your opinion Reno is a great place to work Plentiful career opportunities - You're able to grow and develop. There are many training opportunities and different areas to work.

Cons

Days can be busy but because the hospital and city is growing, this is what I expect. Management staffs appropriately though and so the department is growing at a similar rate.

Pros

Renown Health has a health ecosystem that few other systems have. Its vertically integrated with an ACO, Health Insurance Company, multiple hospitals and clinics, labs and other services. This means that our ability to take care of a patient is beyond that of an organization that only interacts with patients at one point or another. This positioning, coupled with the professionalism of leadership and human resources, makes working for Renown Health bigger than just a job. We are a team focused on patient/family/community health with the power to actually move the needle.

Cons

Because Renown Health focuses on care across the continuum, everything has to be coordinated. From Ambulatory to Acute Care to Home Health, the patient has to have the same experience to ensure their success. This takes time and energy, but totally worth it.
