      DONT WORK FOR RENOWN THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES

      Flexibility with schedule, pretty much it

      Cons

      They dont really care about you as an employee. They say one thing and do the opposite. Human Resources is honestly a joke. Super understaffed yet question it when they treat there employees like crap. Not one or two but multiple people would not recommend to work at Renown and im not surprised maybe they cared or were fair to everyone it would be a different story. The pay is not worth all the crap you go through. Very toxic environment. At least in the Patient Transport Department. DONT recommend working here they don't value you go somewhere where you will be appreciated.

      Pros

      Office, staff, malpractice, and billing are all taken care of for you. Base pay plus bonuses depending on wRVU.

      Cons

      Depending on your location, overall morale of staff can be quite low. The company tends to make many promises but fails to deliver on most. Lack of control over your schedule (for example appropriateness of patients being scheduled) can be frustrating.

      Used to be a good place to work.

      Cons

      Used to be a ground up organization striving to improve health care within the county. Has now become top down dictatorial environment. Middle management is not included in discussion about their service areas to voice improvement. Changes come from the ivory tower, speaking of which why a non profit company has the top floor office space in downtown Reno for its top execs is beyond me. Executive more interested in Lambroghini, book deals, ted talks and self promotion than employees or health care in Washoe county. Amazing how the majority of organizations shares this opinion yet the board does not see it. New hires forced to sign non compete which basically excludes them from working anywhere in Northern Nevada
