Pros

The mission of the company seems to be genuine

Cons

The title should be pretty self explanatory. This really was once a place people wanted to be, it used to be hard getting in because people would never leave their jobs, they were happy.. Those days seem to be a mere memory now. Turnover is huge, constant changes and careless managers who push people beyond what id reasonable, we've been told many times thats the way it is and that Renown is just a hard place to work, not much of a moral booster. I dont see much hope foe the future of this ever being a good job again. That coupled alongside the bullying and politics that take place at work make it a truly undesirable place to remain

Pros

If you can fit in with the in crowd you wont have to work very hard

Cons

The work environment inside food and nutrition really is pure toxic. The managers are so rough and unprofessional, some of them have hired their personal friends from outside and these people have it made, they dont have ro work so hard and their jobs are never threatened like the rest of us. The managers and their friends have formed a closed group in the department, you have to try to fit in with this group or your work environment will be very unpleasant. People such as myself who dont fit in with this in crowd are made outcasts and are treated spitefully, its kind of like being in high school again. The work is very hard and stressful, the department is very messed up and the leadership is horrible, even if you give this hard job 100% everyday it will not matter, its all about being friends with the cool people. This type of pressure to fit in on top of the stress from the crazy work makes the kitchen an unbearable place to work.

Pros

I enjoy working with my peers they are great people

Cons

Alot of lies to cover up leaderships wrong doings, alot of promises with no delivery. Alot of division mostly caused by gossip and drama that management also participates in. A very unprofesional work environment, managers who have never done your job cause confusion, too much work given to one person, BURN OUT!
