Pros

Open communication. Fast paced. Empowerment to do your job. Great office location in the heart of the Gables within walking distance to a lot of great food spots.

Cons

Company is relatively new. Growing pains as with any new organization that is growing and developing.

No Defined Strategy

Pros

Renuity tries to have parties and celebrate birthdays, but no real team building events.

Cons

Very poor communication from the top down. Strategy and priorities seem to shift every day. Real no idea what is going on. Many closed door meetings with leadership team and consultants. Have such a hard time hiring people in finance that it is mostly run by consultants who they pay way more than our current financial people. I would stay away due to all the uncertainty. Seemed to be focused on a quick sale to make the upper management and PE firm a ton of money without taking care of the worker bees. Very poor benefits- health benefits extremely costly and few vacation days and sick days.

We appreciate your feedback. As a relatively young company experiencing rapid growth, we acknowledge that there are areas where we can improve, and are already actively taking steps to address many of the points mentioned. We have put increased communication and transparency at the forefront of our priorities as we look to best address the present needs of our employees. We appreciate your patience in advance as we work through providing tangible solutions to these issues. In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out to our HR team if you have any specific suggestions about how we can improve our processes.

Not for the experienced

Pros

Free parking and snacks, great parties. Healthcare, vision and dental are priced favorably. Work from home Fridays.

Cons

If you’re an experienced professional, this company is not for you. There is a lack of strategy and therefore no clear direction. The company is owned by a PE firm, and CEOs strategy was not aligned with there’s, leading to layoffs so that the company could look more profitable for sale in Q1’2024. There aren’t great systems in place, which means a lot of manual work. Because it very much functions as a start up, the leadership team is younger, less experienced and they make it difficult for the more experienced team members to do what needs to be done. Junior staff members are overworked and underpaid, and not valued. The culture is very cut throat… if something failed, it was never the responsibility of leadership, instead junior team members would be thrown under the bus. Micromanaging is embedded all the way at the top. Poor vacation - no matter what level you’re at, you get 10 paid PTO and 1 sick day.

We appreciate your feedback on how we can improve. As a young company striving to achieve something great, we are committed to learning as we go and acknowledge areas where we can do better. Specifically, we recognize the need for more efficient systems to streamline our processes. Based on valuable input from our employees, we have established the change management framework to refine our strategy from our teams at all levels and propel our operations to new levels of focus and execution. We understand that our management style may not align with everyone's preferences. While we believe in giving our employees independence and ownership, we also aim to empower them with leadership input to help them utilize their skills effectively. We value all our employees at every level and strive to live by our collaborative values, not endorsing scapegoating individuals for mistakes. We apologize if there have been instances where this aspect of our culture was not upheld. We will address the issues you raised as we continue to grow and develop as a business and company culture.
