They have no loyalty to long term employees

Pros

Benefits given immediately after being hired, paid lunches, Caltrain pass

Cons

No review process, no matter how long you have worked there and how many sacrifices you have made for the company, they will use you til they feel they no longer need you, than you get "laid off". The CEO always raves how this will be a US based company and you will never be dealing with someone outside of the US, but now they are outsourcing a lot of the work. You have to tell the customers so many lies that you start believing your lies so much you don't even know what is the truth and what is not anymore when it comes to the products and what they can and can't do.

Pros

For the most part, the schedule is pretty fluid, come in late, work late--come in early, leave early. There are a few decent people working here worth knowing. Lunch is provided a few times a week on the company, and the kitchen is usually stocked with some decent snacks.

Cons

The office has a horribly unfriendly vibe. People will regularly pass you in the hallways without so much as putting on a friendly face. Secrecy is big around the office, ideas and changes are not shared with any of the lower level workers. You can work for well over a year here without any feedback about your work. Management is untrustworthy, and will spread an employees personal details around the office. Promotions are a matter of favoritism, and not based on hard work or seniority . Management changes and shifts so often, that it seems no one really has a good understanding of an individuals contributions to the company. Acknowledgment and praise is given to sales, customer service, and sometimes engineering, but is never directed towards any of the fulfillment team (the ones actually working to improve a customers online image). ReputationDefender will make cuts wherever they can to save a dime, which results in a subpar service provided to paying customers.

Cons

-In the last 12-18 months, Reputation has completely gutted and replaced all executive team members with more mediocre people -Company continues to send non-revenue-producing employees to President's Club while neglecting CSMs -I was personally gaslit by HR on multiple occasions -I called a senior executive (still on staff) for approval on a renewal; was berated and hung up on -In 2022, I watched company executives strategically hide millions of dollars of churned revenue QoQ in an effort to lure investors -Company has laid off more than 300 FTEs between Aug 2022 - Present -Company continues to churn excessive amounts of business each quarter -In 2023, the company eliminated most monetary incentive mechanisms for CSM team -Company is run by minority owner PE group with large BoD presence, executive team has no true autonomy -Product is largely reliant on more than one hundred 3rd party connections which constantly break, leaving both customers and employees frustrated -Internal speed is extremely slow, always waiting on internal parties to the chagrin of customers -General culture of mediocrity and toxicity, quiet firing by newly placed leaders has taken off recently -No 401k match
