Pros

Amazing people in the depots, collaborative teams, great pay and benefits.

Cons

Lack of consistent outlook and sustainable strategy is causing problematic turnover which only paves the way for less consistency. Leadership appears to just be shooting from the hip and sacrificing good people for only short term resolution. Where is the long term strategy? What is the outlook?

Poor Management

Pros

The pay was decent and the flexibility to make your own schedule.

Cons

The management team was absolutely poor. The first manager was phenomenal, in fact that is the only reason I took the job. Then the has been football star CEO that reminds me of a MLM type of motivational speaker decided to clean house and put fancy pants in his position demoting the original manager. Sadly when fancy pants came along all he did was smoke cigarettes and talk on his phone brown nosing the older female manager. Our team would ask several times for him to put together the data for a restaurant and after repeated attempts we ended up figuring out how to unprotect the sheet and do it ourselves. Then they wondered why we couldn’t meet our quotas but we had ZERO support. Then there was the honey badger of the district. This woman would swoop in after you had met and swooned the owners and sneak in getting the paperwork signed and taking ALL the credit! It was unbelievable! It happened to several people in ththe district and they just turned a blind eye! She had ZERO sales experience she was overbearing among many other hygiene issues. Yet they just let it happen!

Thank you for this feedback. After five years with Restaurant Technologies, you must have experienced many changes in your department and in the company overall. We recently established Regional Leadership Teams to improve communication and problem solving between departments, which employees say has been a positive change. We would be interested in learning more about your experience, and ways we can continue to improve. If you have suggestions, please email us at rticareers@rti-inc.com.
