Pros

-Training was informative and paid with a good trainer and manager -Fellow trainees were nice and we all helped other with the concepts -Bulk of training was remote -Despite being kicked from the program and given no resources to be placed with another client, the skills could possibly be used for other positions

Cons

-Was given a verbal offer in June that in itself sounded as if I would be given a position with the client but was strung along until the end of August with "your start date should be finalized soon" and during this time would sometimes take days between when I reached out for clarification and when I actually got a response -Throughout the training information was frequently changing and communication was often given last minute and we were never sure if we had a job with the client or not despite interviewing with the client before training began -Whether we were in-person or remote was frequently changing -Revature and the client gave conflicting information on simple things such as dress code and major details such as how many of our batch the client was going to hire leading me to get kicked out of the program based on the simple fact that the client was only hiring 9 and not 10/11 as Revature made it sound -After being kicked Revature gave me no resources or support to be placed with another client or have some sort of in elsewhere meaning they essentially failed to kickstart my tech career. -While the skills I learned could be applicable to another position, have only a month of experience in those skills and the focus on Cobol/Mainframe is only applicable to so many positions
