Lack of trust and respect by the IT management, CIO of American Snuff is a manager that cannot be trusted. Tells you how great your performance and at your performance review you are told the opposite. The justification he used during the review were not factual. Performance objectives he personally impacted and it was used to justify the low rating. He did not trust his staff, or work ethics, The disappointment was when you show documentation to refute his claims HR ignored it. Last performance rating was left as a message on my phone.

-Steep learning curve -You must be a self-starter or you will not be happy -very competitive market -stigma of tobacco company (depends on your outlook) -Very heavy work load at times.
