Nice working environment with great, friendly people who truly care about one another. Conveniently located in the middle of Memphis.

Cons

No room for advancement within the college, except maybe in your specific department, but even then it is unlikely unless you are in administration.

Rhodes is more than a college - it's a community. From the beautiful campus within the gates to the city of Memphis outside the gates, Rhodes is an amazing place to work that is full of wonderful people who truly care about the college, its mission, and the values of the community.

Cons

No cons to speak of. The environment is productive, the people are welcoming, and everyone is dedicated to the students and the mission of the college.

Pros

I had a lot of freedom to explore different things I wanted to write about Memphis, and in my own unique voice. A great, open environment--I got a lot of great writing experience.

Cons

I almost didn't get to write enough! Whenever I'd finish an article, I'd have to wait a few days before I was allowed to post another one, and they all had to be fairly short, under 1000 words.
